NY Liberty vs Chicago Sky - Thur: 8/28

Alright, so it's back to business! I arrive back into the states Thursday (yesterday) from a series of personal and business travel and my first stop after all of the craziness was to check out the WNBA's New York Liberty!

- I am a huge fan of female Basketball (http://www.5asl.com/), plus I am a regular at most of the NY Liberty home games!

- The game was great, except for the home team took a tough "L"!

- As usual, I enjoyed myself! My guest was a business associate/friend, Larry Wilson, who co-owns the Level barbershop franchise and the up-n-coming ubran/sports apparel line, Both Ends!

Unfortunately, there no picture of us because I feel weird asking another male if he would like to take a picture with me to put up on my blog!!! Understand?!? But I did tell him that I would shout him out! So, shout out to Larry Wilson!

Last but not least-

SHAMU!!!!!!!!

I was beginning to enjoy my vacation. After shutting down, Club A Trax the past night, I headed over to the famous SEAWORLD for some action!

It was here, were I got a chance to witness the great big whale, SHAMU!!!!

-Yea, Yea! He's friendly, He's cute, He's big and He's funny! But...... He is also RUDE!!!

SHAMU, feeling himself, feeling the love and feeling all of the complimentary fish, decided, 'hey, let me swim on over to Ali's section.....hmmmm, ok!

And that he did! Shamu, proceeded to come over in my direction- not for us to feed him fish- but to rudely splash our entire section with water!!! Why??? For I guess......not screaming the loudest!!!! :-(

- Everyone found it so cute and entertaining, but his cute little behind caused water damage to my expensive camera!!!!!!!!

-Till this day, me and Shamu have BEEF!

- While in Orlando, I was treated like a KING (Good to have business contacts).....served with a selection of complimentary opportunities! One of the opportunities I took advantage of was CLUB A TRAX, located inside of Walt Disney's, Marketplace!!!!!

- The place was packed, the ladies were out and.......your folk, Ali "A's" Abdullah was in the building!!

- I am not a party go'er nor do I dance, but I made an exception that night! As soon as I walked in the club, one of Orlando's hottest DJ's- Sincerie shouted me out..."EVERYBODY, MY MAN ALI from NYC is in the house"!!!!! RAWWWWWWW!!!!

-Immediately after the cheers, the only "sista" in the club, grabbed me and asked me for a dance! (if you stare hard in the above picture, you can actually see her!)I was nervous as hell!!!!......... :-) ......... Anyway, I am not going to elaborate anymore, just know I had a great time!

* No it was not my birthday.....it is on, Sunday 8/31!

You will definitely see me at more parties and events!

My Vacation - 8//21-8/27/08

Over the past week, I traveled to several places including my favorite- ORLANDO! Why? I love the theme parks, customer service and the Atmosphere! I go every year! It's the best!

This time around was a bomber, because of the weather! It rained 5days straight!!!!!

I was so upset, but rain is an act of nature, so it didn't stop me from enjoying myself!

- My hotel was great and my view was amazing! In above pictures, you can clearly see how bad the weather was....I'm talking about non-stop Rain! However, this time around, I rank this experience on a scale of 1-10, a 7!!!

ATLANTA - "Turns out Bigfoot was just a rubber suit. Two researchers on a quest to prove the existence of Bigfoot say that the carcass encased in a block of ice - handed over to them for an undisclosed sum by two men who claimed to have found it - was slowly thawed out, and discovered to be a rubber gorilla outfit. The revelation comes just days after a much ballyhooed news conference was held in California to proclaim that the remains of the creature found in the North Georgia mountains was the legendary man-ape".

"Steve Kulls, executive director of squatchdetective.com and host of Squatchdetective Radio, says in a posting on a Web site run by Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi that as the "evidence" was thawed, the claim began to unravel as a giant hoax. First, the hair sample was burned and "melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair," Kulls said in the posting. The thawing process was sped up and the exposed head was found to be "unusually hollow in one small section." An hour of thawing later and the feet were exposed - and they were found to be made of rubber. Matt Whitton, an officer who has been on medical leave from the Clayton County Police Department, and Rick Dyer, a former Georgia corrections officer, announced the find in early July on YouTube videos and a Web site. "Everyone who has talked down to us is going to eat their words," Whitton said at the time. Phone calls to Whitton and Dyer went unreturned on Tuesday. Weekend Grind- Part#2

Alright! I'm back! And it's part#2 of Ali's weekend grind....I have to say, finding my journey to get back into shape has been tough!

So, this past weekend, my homeboy, "D" took me up to a mystery location to run....Prior to us arriving, he says "Hey, this is going to be a light workout"!.............YEEEEAAAA, OKKKKK!
I knew he was BullSh**!

Soooo, when we arrived to the tallest & longest hill (picture#2) in NYC, he pulled out his workout book and smiled- devilishly, and said, Yo "A's"??!! We have to run our fastest, 3 times! I replied, "WHAT THE **** "!! lol

However, my attitude was overshadowed by the positive cheers that our female friends yelled from the sidewalk..... "GO ALI, GO ALI, GO!" Even some guy yelled, "WE LOVE YOU ALI, YOUR FIRST"! - "D".......... "Who ME!"-Ali

Indeed I did, taking off at my fastest speed...2mph!... (Seen in picture#1-left)... I am clearly struggling on my first attempt! Nevertheless, I completed each of the three in record breaking times! Thank GOD!

Ali @ the 10th Annual AND1 Mixtape Tour - Springfield, Mass.

Hey, over the years, the AND1 Mixtape Tour has always made a lot of noise, but I've never witnessed what the hype was all about. So, this time around, I received a personal invitation from AND1 Executive Director, Rob Purvy! He asked if I can come through to make a celebrity appearance! And that I did! (FYI: He's a great leader) So, of course I headed to Springfield, Massachusetts ti check out the 10th annual finale @ the BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME! The place was amazing and I had fun!

Those AND1 guys are off the hook! It's like a organize Basketball Circus!

- Every move and every play is a highlight!

Weekend Grind

On 8/10/08- I attempted to modify my sexy by getting in shape (picture#2)....My homeboy, Daquan "D" (picture #1) introduces me to a new line of workouts. Look UP!!As you can see, I am clearly struggling! Nevertheless, I made out well and manage to meet a lovely lady while cooling off on the sidelines! Always a plus!

- However, look how "D" browses through these drills!

-Catch me next week, as I attempt to break my personal record of (425lb) by bench pressing 450lbs!
